  • The Business/Administration Intern will have the ability to structure the work for the CEO, while remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient. A high level of communication, organization, flexibility, professionalism, and confidentiality is crucial for this position. This creative position involves planning, implementing, and monitoring the organization’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, and improve marketing efforts in support of organizational goals.   • Work directly with youth and young adults experiencing barriers to employment who have I/DD, IEPs, or 504 plans and are enrolled in the YouthForce Summer Program. This position includes training period of May 1 - May 31 and is 20 hours per week beginning in June. The Workforce Development Intern will have the ability to meet each youth where they are at supporting skill-building, compassion, and positive solutions while remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient.   • The Peer Support/ YRLI Programs Intern will have the ability to recruit and cultivate prosocial relationships with youth in local middle and high schools within YR service areas to maintain and/or develop youth coalition chapters while remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient. YOUTH/YOUNG ADULT INTERNSHIPS

  • Position Description - This is a dual-focus position. The Program Assistant/ Peer Advocate will provide community-based oversight and documentation management in addition to peer support services to young participants at the Youth Rising Drop-in.

  • (Various locations) - Youth Rising is seeking a youth 16-18 or 11th-12th grade (peer) to train and earn while you learn as a Peer Advocate at the YR Drop-in in addition to training other youth in leadership skills. You will build connections with youth and assist in needs-identification, solution brainstorming, self-advocacy, school-dropout prevention, and positive skill-building to prevent and reduce challenging behaviors and circumstances. You will cultivate a welcoming environment and engage youth using peer support and fun, engaging activities at the Drop-in. You will be expected to demonstrate competency in leadership, training, advocacy, and ongoing healthy coping skills. Position Description
