WORKFORCE OPPORTUNITIES
YouthForce is our workforce development program for youth and young adults ages 14-21 with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disability, IEP’s, or 504 plans experiencing barriers to employment. This 8-10 week paid Summer Internship program connects businesses with YouthForce interns entering the workforce. Our goal is to provide participants with the tools and experience necessary to establish financial independence.

Campus Connect provides fun and meaningful school outreach and youth-led activities to recruit and engage in drop-ins, peer mentoring, Amplify, and YR Serves. Clubs are typically held during lunch or homeroom and include music, fun activities, project/event planning, and giveaways for those who get involved.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
PeerPower offers 12 to 24-month externships to high school juniors and seniors interested in careers in mental health, behavioral health, and social services. Peer mentors gain valuable hands-on experience and explore their passion and potential career paths.

MEDIA EDUCATION
Amplify is a national youth media program all about inspiring and empowering the next generation of social innovators and change-makers. Youth are provided with media education and resources to represent themselves. As a media/communications program, youth will improve videography, vlogging, photography, and content creation skills. Youth will learn to create meaningful YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram reels, videos, and shorts. They will improve their interview and communication skills and learn to use professional equipment. Amplify will have a voice in designing and managing social media campaigns, storytelling, stories of impact, and shedding light on youth-relevant issues and solutions.
